Starting with Avnovo

You can begin using Avnovo today. Begin by requesting a demo or signing up for a user account to experience Avnovo. You can sign up online here. To get paid online from users, you will need a payment gateway & merchant account from any of the supported payment gateways. It takes anywhere between a few days to a few weeks to get an approved payment gateway account, so please factor that in to go live.

No terminal or special equipment is required to process payments with Avnovo. Our technology is designed to let you accept payments online, through our secure customer portal.

We are a payment automation and subscription management system that handles recurring billing, invoicing, and life cycle management for your customers. We provide options to integrate with payment gateways in order to collect payments online using our recurring billing platform.

Payment gateways are responsible for processing transactions and distributing funds into your merchant bank account. You will need to input credentials for your payment gateway. Currently Avnovo supports Repay, Stripe, Paypal, ACHQ, USAePay, Authorize.net.

Yes, although ACH and credit card payments rely on different settlement networks, you can funnel all payment activity through a single gateway.

Currently, Avnovo's solution is available to businesses in the United States processing payments in USD. We continue to explore options to best serve our customers.

Avnovo’s pricing plans charge on a per-transaction basis, % of revenue, and a base monthly fee. A per-transaction fee will be assessed against successful payments, refunds, voids, authorizations, and declines. Avnovo does not charge for transactions that failed due to a gateway connection issue.

Avnovo does not charge a setup fee. You may sign up and start implementing Avnovo for free at any time. We only charge our fees once you sign up for an Avnovo subscription and are ready to start collecting money.

Avnovo is a month-to-month service, so there are no long-term commitments, and you can cancel at any time. Avnovo also offers you an annual billing option, which automatically grants you a 20% discount when commiting to an annual subscription plan.

Funds processed by Avnovo are deposited directly into your account. You should expect to receive your money within a few business days of the transaction, which can vary depending on your banking institution.

General questions

Payment Portal provides merchants with a mobile-friendly, PCI-compliant approach to get up and running with minimal effort. Optimized for mobile devices, the look and feel can be customized with your logo and custom background color.

Funds are usually transferred in 24 hours. Many ACH processors impose a hold and/or reserve requirement to manage their transaction risk (e.g., fraud, returns). It typically takes 3 – 5 days to see your money with an ACH transaction.

We strive towards zero downtime, including deployments over weekends. Our engineering team has extensive experience handling server scalability and you can rest assured on our ability to provide a highly available and highly scalable service.

Yes! Our Scheduled Payments feature lets you schedule recurring charges in advance. Collect client card information once, then set payments to repeat indefinitely or until a certain amount has been paid. Unlike other processors who charge extra for this feature, with Avnovo, it’s included at no extra charge to you. Learn more about Scheduled Payments.

Yes. You can even drive customers to be subscribed via different gateways, by just configuring the gateways. You would set one by default and then can control change of gateway for specific subscriptions.

Yes. One-time transactions are supported.

Consider Avnovo as your extended system to manage your subscriptions. We do not touch the money part. We take care of initiating the authorization, capture & refunds on your behalf with payment gateways. So the settlement happens to you directly by the payment gateway and not by Avnovo.

No card information is stored in Avnovo, except the last few digits required for identification and the token provided by the credit card vault for recurring transactions.

Use case scenarios

Yes. Since ACH payments are NOT real-time, the payment can be stopped (as long as it is cancelled before 6 PM EST on the date of entry).

No. Since card payments are real-time, the payment cannot be stopped. It can, however, be voided.

Yes, there is a Processed Payments report available to show you what is declining and why.
